Thanks. I think I am now a fully qualified engineer. Actually, I
did get to ride in an F40PH cab once. From Lake Louise to Banff
(somewhere around there) on The Canadian. I was kind of amazed at how
few controls there were. The engineers nickname was "Church" and he
kept spitting tobacco juice at me and swearing at me for being an
unwelcome yankee tourist in the cab. I found out later he put the
same show on for everyone, as in those days there was usually a
tourist in the cab most of the time.
