Subject: West Hinsdale Station
This station was privately built around 1874 by Oliver J. Stough who owned
the building. Mr. Stough reached an agreement with the CB&Q that if he
built this station, one mile from the company owned station in Hinsdale, the
trains would stop there.
Can you tell me when the Burlington Railroad became the owner of the Stough
station? (As you know, this building was torn down decades ago.)
