I believe all the GP-7 & GP-9 units were delivered with Steam
Generators
as well as most of the SD-7 & SD-9 units. Only the SD-9s units ('s' for
single controls) were delivered without Steam Generators. Mike Spoors
'CB&Q
in Color' Vol 4 shows lots of the GP-7 & GP-9 units being used in
secondary
passenger runs in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri etc.
