Hi Malcolm,

I don't have a specific answer to your question (sorry), but not having seen
any answers coming your way thusfar, let me throw out what came to mind after
reading your post.

I don't have access to it at the moment, but I am thinking the Society Bulletin
on Stockcars (#?) mentioned something about using two of the Proto(?) Mather
cars to kitbash/mingle a fifty foot car. I know I read this "somewhere". Does
this jog anyone's memory on specifics to help Malcolm?

Who'd be happy if Athearn would make a (correct) Burlington 40-footer, and/or
Accurail for that matter, and/or Walther's would have included theirs when the
re-released their stock cars a couple/three years back.
Or SOMEONE, ANYONE! (hint-hint/hope-hope)
