Okay here's one to pick some brains and see what we come up with.
In Ed's new CUS book, which is an excellent book I might add, on page 8 the
map shows the Chicago & Mississippi RR running through Des Plaines. This Des
Plaines is southwest of Chicago and south of Naperville which is nowhere near
the current Des Plaines.
Now the $64,000 question. What town did this Des Plaines of the south become?
>From the location I tend to think it's in the area of Lemont.
