Every section foreman would tell you that rerailing on
a switch frog is a big NO NO. For one thing, it is
very hard on the ties (cuts and breaks them). Changing
switch ties is not a whole lot of fun! Also rail
braces are knocked around and even bridle bars can get
bent.
