Shovel Nose Diesels

Hi:

Some time ago, a poll was posted as to our favorite "Q" diesels. At
first, it was possible to vote for the Shovelnose, but on
re-constituting the poll, the shovelnose was out. I now have enough
nerve to ask the sages populating this list, why wasn't it possible to
vote for the shovelnose, and why was the shovelnose spoken of so
derisively?
