I emailed Oriental before I bought mine, and they said (regarding their
latest O5):

"Locomotives #5601 & #5617 can negotiate a 27" radius curve, but look
better on a 30. #5629 & #5630 require a somewhat larger curve because
of the vestibule cab. They should do fine on a 30" curve."

I'm sure it varies some between manufacturers, but in general will a 
brass ho scale O-5 or O-5A run on a 26 inch radius? What knid of 
curves are you guys running them on?
