Heres a little know tidbit. For a short time in the late '50s the Q borrowed from the 'J' a couple center cab Baldwins for testing on the Fox River branch. You say it wasnt so? I have the Eola Rdhse engine assignment book as proof. And when I questioned Wade Gorman he said yes they did try the 'J' units on the Roustabout and Fox River for a short time. Leo |
