Keith "Beatle Bailey" used to tell this one. One stormy night on #85 or
#11811 they were headed west down Wedron Hill. Of course its pitch dark and
the only thing that can be seen is what is highlighted by the headlight thru
the driving rain. As they gain speed down the grade suddenly a large dark
object shows in the headlight and it totally blocks the rails and R-O-W. What
the XXXX? As they get closer an emergency application is made and they stop
just short of the object. Its a fallen tree of the size and diameter that
even trying to shove it out of the way with the units is out of the question.
So its a call to the DS and wait for the section to show up with chain saws.
