About a month ago someone of this list was kind enough to email me a drwg of
same that included a view down thru the floor showing where all the
underbody equipment was located. Due to the proverbial computer crash,
etc., the drwg was lost - would you be so kind as to send again @ your
convenience?
All of these NP Lewis & Clark buffet Lounges were on BN's roster @ time of
Amtrak startup but #499, the Q-owned one, had been in a wreck damaging one
end so was retained while all the others went to Beech Grove. Subsequently
they have been ret'd & remodeled BUT #499, the CB&Q owned one, is now in
Humboldt, with an interior that is mostly original including the murals,
short bar, most of the kitchen, some of the furniture, etc. But the
underbody was stripped.
