Scott,

The new Observation car from Walthers is a New York Central
prototype. It 
appears that Walthers is doing two versions of the car,
origional and a 
modified with the rear tail light casting on the roof. Neither
one is close 
to the Burlington's Budd Observations. Sadly with all the new
Budd cars that 
Walthers has done the only one out of the box that is correct
for the 
Burlington is the Slumber Coach and that is only correct named
for the 
Northern Pacific. 

The dome that Walthers has shown is a CP prototype, it's a
Skyline Dome. I 
still wonder why Walthers decided to use the CP car, since non
of them were 
ever used in the US except for a short time on the D&H. Of
course most of the 
origional cars are in use today on VIA.
