Having spent some time switching in both full life gauge and in H.O.(and oh
yes s scale) I prefer to just use the clock on the wall when working in H.O.
Real life switching is indeed interrupted w/questions,hand
signs,conversations and lots of walking(especially today with reduced crews).
It all takes time. Newbies to rr and modellling are going to have questions
as your operating so using a fast clock just might put you on O.T. Also will
the audience really stick around for a full shift(even on a fast clock)?
