Here's my take on work rules being "boring" or "befuddling" to outsiders.
I have made no secret over the years of the fact that I have not the
slightest interest in modeling or anything related to it, however I'm aware
that probably 50-75% of the group are modelers and perhaps have little
interest in the old stories or characters which I live for.
That's what makes for a good organization. We all pay our dues and we all
get some of what we want..The BRHS gives us the forum for whatever our
interests are.
My delete button is very effective in eliminating my need to plow through the
model stuff, as I'm sure said button is equally effective for those who have
no interest in my "living in the past diatribes"....That's fine.
Let's all do what we do best and enjoy what each one contributes to the
organization.
We can easily delete or not read what we don't want and feast on what each of
us thinks is his own idea of "good stuff". Let's do it all and let everyone
benefit from each other's interest and expertise.
I say...do the work rules Leo....it can be made interesting and quite
humorous as well.
Pete
