RE: FLOORPLAN CORRECTIONS FOR WAYCAR #14006
Hi Everybody,
We need help with the following item for inclusion in The Burlington
Waycars
1. In 1982 a floorplan for an NE1 waycar #14006 was printed in Model
Transport magazine.
2. After it was printed the magazine received a sketch for the revision
of the floorplan as it was thought to be. The individual that made these
suggestions lived in California at the time (1982). Sketches of the
corrections were sent to Model Transport magazine for inclusion in the
next issue. Another issue was never published and the magazine ceased
operation.
3. The sketches were never authenticated and are not known to be
accurate for that particular waycar and have since been lost by the
publisher of Model Transport.
4. If you have any idea of who might have prepared these sketches
correcting the original drawings, please contact me off list ASAP.
Things changed as the railroad built and modified waycars on a daily
basis.
Please contact me off list ASAP if you have any information regarding
the floorplan for this particular waycar.
