The fare-paying long distance passengers boarding the bilevels who
thought they were paying for the cushions of the NZ or the TCZ, must
have had a rude awakening when they were treated to the boards in
those cars for more than a few miles. This is not to mention the wry
neck trying to peer out the small windows (or trying to drape oneself
over the unyielding seat back).
