Just because something goes off the market does *not* mean it is no longer 
available. At a train show, I bought 6 Walthers passenger interiors over 15 
years after they had left the catalogue . . . and in the mid-nineties, at a 
"going out of business" hobby shop sale, I picked up a cast-metal transformer 
load (for 25 cents) which was marked "M. Dale Newton Co. Red Ball". I believe 
Howell Day bought Red Ball about 40 years earlier . . . At another hobby shop 
toward the end of the '90s, in one of the parts bins, was a rubber-banded batch 
(about a dozen) of Mantua stamped metal couplers.

Keep looking around - stuff doesn't immediately disappear from the market!
