Hello!
I am an antiques and collectibles dealer from Texas. I acquired your contact
information from an on-line index to railroad historical societies. I have
recently received a collection of over 270 railroad books and associated
paraphernalia with publishing dates between 1924 to 1996. Most of these books
are evaluated as being in good or very good condition. Among the list are ten
autographed books and many more first editions. Categories include:
region-specific, U.S. and foreign lines; trolleys; fiction; biographies;
manuals; and bulletins. Notable authors include Karl Zimmerman, Bill Yenne,
Lucius Beebe, Charles Clegg, and Spencer Crump.
Many of these books are outstanding with color plates, map inserts, and/or
photography. They should be in the hands of collectors who can truly
appreciate them.
