Darn, I wondered what happend to that turn table.
There is also a bridge over I 25 south of downtown that seems to be out
of service but I recall that is says C&S on it.

The turntable South of downtown Denver you spotted in 1994 was one of two
remaining landmarks from the former Rice Yard of the C&S. I believe it
is gone now. An amusement park fills the site. I think I remember
reading that the turntable was moved somewhere else. Perhaps someone
else can tell us where?? The other landmark that still exists (I
photographed it and rode across it on a light engine move about a year
ago) is the steel truss bridge over Cherry Creek. It's within walking
distance South of Union Station.
