Who knows what the future holds but they tried this when the Frisco
Massacre was going on back in the 80's, they got the bright idea that they
would hold trains at certain points to meet other trains as if it was single
track, all they got accomplished was that they wore out turnouts for no
reason, I think one thing about this merger over the other is they seem to
be building and upgrading more than destroying everything like after the
Frisco merger.
