New BNSF divisions

New Divisions
BNSF has announced that on October 1st the current 22 divisions
on BNSF will become 13 divisions. The new divisions will be as follows:
The Chicago Division with headquarters at Chicago. It will comprise the
former ATSF main line from Chicago to Kansas City, the BN main lines from
Chicago to La Crosse, WI and from Savanna to Galesburg, the Brookfield
sub from Galesburg to Kansas City, and the line to Paducah, KY from
Galesburg. The Southeast Division is headquartered at Springfield, MO
and includes the former Frisco east of Tulsa and the Enid to Tulsa line. 
The Nebraska Division is headquarted at Lincoln, NE and is the former
CB&Q west of Galesburg to McCook & Ravenna, NE and from Sioux City, IA to
Kansas City. The Kansas Division has it?s headquarters at Kansas City
and is the former Santa Fe main lines from Kansas City to La Junta;
Kansas City to Texico, NM; Texico to Sweetwater and the Plainview sub;
Amarillo to La Junta; The Topeka and Strong City subs and the lines to
Ark City. Also the former BN from Amarillo to Texline. The southwest
Division is headquartered at Albuquerque and is the former ATSF lines
from Texico to Needles, CA and the Phoenix sub; the La Junta to Dalies
line; the Belen to El Paso line and the Clovis to Carlsbad line. The
Powder River division has Denver for its headquarters. It includes the
former ATSF Pueblo Sub from La Junta to Pueblo, the Joint Line, the
former BN from Texline to Pueblo; the BN lines from Denver to Casper and
Gillette, WY and from Denver to McCook, NE; and the coal line from
Raveena to Gillette and via alliance to Casper. It also includes the
former Rio Grande trackage rights from Denver to Salt Lake City. The
Texas division is headquartered at Haslet, TX and is the former ATSF
lines from Ark City, KS to Temple, TX. It has the former BN lines from
Amarillo to Teague, TX; and the former Frisco lines from Tulsa to Fort
Worth and the Frisco from Oklahoma City to Quanah. It also contains the
trackage rights over the UP from Fort Worth to Sweetwater. The Gulf
division is headquartered at Spring, TX. It has the former ATSF lines
from Sweetwater to Houston and Galveston, the former BN lines from Teague
to Houston and the new BNSF line from Houston to New Orleans. It also
has all the South Texas trackage rights and the rights to Memphis. The
Southern California Division is headquartered at San Bernardino. It
actually is the smallest of the 13 divisions covering the former ATSF
tracks from Needles to Mojave, and Barstow to Los Angeles plus the
Metrolink trackage to San Diego. The Northern California Division has
the headquarters at Stockton, CA. It covers the rest of the former ATSF
California trackage plus the SP trackage rights over Tehachipi and the
former WP & GN track to Klamath Falls, OR. It also has the UP trackage
rights from Stockton to Oroville and the Stockton to Salt Lake City
lines. The former BN lines across the north are broken up into three
divisions. The Twin Cities Division has the headquarters at Minneapolis
and covers everything North of La Crosse, WI and Sioux City, IA. It goes
as far west as Hettinger, SD; Mandan and Minot, ND. The Montana Division
covers the state of Montana rather well. It is everything north of
Casper and Gillette, WY; and everything west of Hettinger, Mandan and
Minot. The Montana Division has its western boundary at Whitefish, MT. 
The Northwest division is everything north of Klamath Falls, OR and west
of Whitefish, MT. The headquarters are at Seattle.
