I have a black and white photo taken from a Milwaukee Road Historical
society magazine(3rd quarter-1997) of Savanna taken in 1957. The view is
from the air(Sattelite? he-he...) and it is hard to see if there are one or
two tracks on the curve East of the Savanna tower. The photo shows only
half of the curve and doesn't show Plum River. Don't know what trackage
looked like there in the 50's. Now-a-days there is a crossover at Plum
River and also one(opposite way) at the old stockyard lead. This makes
things pretty flexible going from Main 1 or 2 to Chicago or Galesburg, or
vice-versa.

Thanks for your help!

Sabula Bob
