You are correct re "Rocket Zephyr" (Zephyr Rocket was the actual name). The
Twin Star Rocket was not a joint train...strictly Rock Island.
There was also the Sam Houston Zephyr which, I believe subject to correction
from those more knowledgeable was a joint train between Ft. Worth and
Houston. It ran with Q Zephyr Equipment, but carried the Rock Island Herald.
The Burlington Bulletin covering the Joint Texas Division will answer all
your questions. I don't recall the number.
