Jim Y. and Rupert,
Thank you very much for the response on waycar #14497.
Unfortunately, I do not have the out-of-print book "Waycars of the
CB&Q" book. I'll look for it at future train shows.
In that book's photo of #14497, does a Burlington Route herald
painted on the sides of the waycar? #14497 is currently in mineral
red with black trim with "CB&Q 14497" on the sides but with out the
BR herald.
I would like to obtain (and pay for the costs) of photocopies of the
title page, pages 15, 16, 17, and 79; and any other pages associated
with the paint schemes associated with the NE-1 class, any interior
information, and general information on the NE-1 class. Please
contact me off-list for my post office address if you are interested
in providing this assistance.
Thanks again for your help,
Bill Hayward
