In reply to your email, the Q shipped caterpillars out of Peoria via
interchange with the PPU and also shipped large quanities of IH tractors
from the Farmall Plant in Rock Island and also Combines, John Deere also
shipped large quantities of combines out of the Quad Cities, I remember
during the early 70's when we would pick up on old 11680 [ then BN ] we
would have several flats of farm equipment out of Barstow yard that the Rock
Island Transfer jobs had brought over, I do remember switching the Case
plant at Burlington, if remember correctly they were mostly little utility
tractors.
