Good evening from San Diego!!!!
I have created a new folder on the BRHS list page
entitled 'Rosters'. I uploaded an Adobe Acrobat PDF file that
consists an all time CB&Q diesel roster.
What I have tried to do is track every known Burlington diesel
locomotive from construction through disposition. I know that there
are Q engines out there that have been renumbered into the BNSF
scheme, engines that have been retired, etc. If I can't confirm it,
I haven't listed it on the roster. For example, there have been any
number of BNSF numbering schemes, but unless I can confirm that a
motor has actually been renumbered to a specific BNSF number, I
haven't listed it.
Are there errors? You bet. What I am hoping to do is that yall out
there will help me update it/keep it current. I try and stay current
through X2200 South and other pubs/web sites, but I am by no means
perfect.
For some reason, microsoft has changed me from John Lewis to
BurlingtonJohn (not that I can complain). Please send any updates or
corrections to me at CBQJohn@m... I promise that I will
incorporate them into the ongoing roster effort.
In the next couple of days, I will post to the folder all time diesel
rosters for the Forth Worth & Denver as well as the Colorado &
Southern. If you have any questions or are in need of translation
assistance, please give me a yell.
To read the file, you need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is availabe
FREE from the Adobe web site at http://www.adobe.com. Your help &
knowledge is appreciated!
Regards,
John Lewis
