Was looking at some pictures of the power cars used with the
Q's gallery cars last night and came up with a question that
hopefully someone on the list might have an answer for.
Seeing as the power cars seem to have the more or less
"standard" arrangement of doors and traps over the steps,
versus the doors on the gallery cars that can be controlled
from other cars in the train, how did they handle the
loading and unloading of these cars? Did they keep a
trainman on the car to handle the doors and traps, or did
they simply let the commuters in the power cars move to the
adjacent gallery car to get on and off?
