I found that Champ apparently made their solution stronger about 10-15 years ago. Since then I always cut it 50% with distilled water, even when I use Champ's decals. If I have stubborn areas I will use a little full strength, but only then. Champ's Decal Set will even lift Scalecoat or Scalecoat II paint if used full strength and enough of it is put on the model.
