Q bi-levels are built to an end loading strength of 180,000 lb. as opposed to cars like CNW of a 140.000 lb. design. That is why the former Q 700s are not inter-mingled with other bi-levels. Metra runs other equipment on BNSF, but not mixed with former Q cars. Ed DeRouin |
