Warm up your search engine. University of Illinois Library has aerial photos 
posted on their website of Fulton County from 1938. Appearantly they have 
photos of the whole state but Fulton County is one of only 4 or 5 counties 
they have posted. Don't know how much good it will do you but have fun 
browsing... Also think that due to fairly extensive strip mining you will 
find track arrangements changing fairly often.
