I am having a problem finding information on the Burlington Budd Sleepers
built in 1952. These cars were part of a Burlington order for additional CZ
10-6's, Silver Crag and Silver Chasm. What I need to find out were the other
10-6's built in the order, Silver Dale, Isle, Meadow, Plain, Prairie, and
Slope did the isle side windows match the CZ 10-6's? Silver Slope is still
around and I found a link to a photo of the car but low and behold the shot
was of the "bedroom" side not the isle side. Same with Mike Spoor's fine
color book Q Equipment Guide showing Silver Isle, shot is from the 'bedroom"
side. It seems as every picture that I have seen of these 6 10-6 Sleepers are
all shot from the 'bedroom" side.
According to Wayner "Car Names Numbers and Consists" these were all built to
the same plan from Budd. Mike also mentions that in the photo caption.
Can anyone help?
