Thanks for all the responses to my message about a problem with smooth 
operation of my 0-8-0. A friend brought his model over, and it runs fine just 
out of the box. The responses and seeing his run reinforced my decision to send 
mine back to Lifelike in Maryland. Thanks again. Dick Wolter
