Dick,
I know Life Like will fix it but why not return it to the store you bought it
at and have them either switch you out or at least look at your locomotive.
Maybe you bought this mail order and then it becomes an issue of the store
standing behind their product. Locally no one has mentioned a problem.
Instead of racking your brain I would either get it back to the store or send
it off to Life Like after talking to their service people as how they want
you to proceed. Personally I have had very good success with Life Like's
service department.
