I am in need of a few R-4 and/or R-5 Prairies for my HO layout. No one has ever made them. The closest is a brass R-1 Nickel Plate Products imported years ago.
I've done a bit of preliminary research on having a run of brass done. Apparently lots of 100 is common. These things would be DCC/sound and probably on the pricey side - like a bit over a thousand dollars each pricey (OUCH!!).
So I'm checking around to see if there's anywhere close to enough interest to even bother to look further. So - if anyone would be interested in a brass R-4 or R-5 Prairie or two for around $1200 (an educated guess at this point), please reply.
