Ricky A Lot of Tanks went from the Lima Tank Arsenal via BN over the C&I headed to PNW for proofing before entering service. At least 2 a week. As they were heavy wide loads they had wide load files sent to the DS office so it was no trouble watching them. Worked in DS office for 35 years, Cicero, Galesburg and then the "Nest of Confusion" Steve in SC

Did the Q handle much military traffic. I read one story about military loads on the KC to Council Bluffs line, but was wondering if there are other instances.
