Chester may have been Chet Jenson...Tall blond guy...went to work in 1946...WW 
II Vet..nice guy....I made my first student trip with him on the Hastings local 
in June 1956.? You didn't say what the years were when you were in Columbus, 
but I would guess that Chet was about 30 or so in 56...

I can remember a Pee Wee, but can't bring him up in the old memory bank 
now...As you may know RR men were fixated on nicknames..I'll publish a list 
sometime...Some are not fit to print and will not be used.

I lived in Columbus, Nebraska as a kid. The Q crossed the UP right behind my 
house. I spent a LOT of time trackside, watching the Q local come and go. There 
were two brakemen that worked the local and piqued my interest in the RR: one 
said his name was Chester, and the other was called PeeWee. If any of their 
family members read this, please accept my sincerest Thank You on their behalf. 
I've been a life-long railfan because of them!
