With all of the talk the last couple of days on the Q's preserved steam engines, when was the last "non-excursion" use of steam on the CB&Q. Primarily was wondering more about mainline usage for one

I think Warren is correct. I recall seeing a photo -- maybe in TRAINS, maybe a newspaper -- of 4960 pulling a Zephyr (California, I believe) through high waters on some floodplain, though I can't rem
