- They were typically in gons or flats - special racks and tie downs for them - the WISE division of the NMRA used to sell them. Not sure if you can still get them. They used to include instructions. B

- In the mid 60's A.O. Smith in Milwaukee built a lot of it. CB&Q had some flats assigned so they got a percentage of the business. Think it usually went via MILW-IHB-CB&Q-Kansas City. -- Yahoo! Groups
