- Thanks for the info. I like Floquil's Tuscon Red (I know, it's no longer available) for the Mineral Red, especially on wooden structures. I might try adding a little white or a white wash to captur

- Be careful about adding white or your red will go pink. Some use a light to medium gray instead of white; some use Armour yellow. I do the fading with weathering chalks on a base coat of Tru Color CB

- Your welcome. I failed to mention that using Armour Yellow will fade the paint up to a point, then take on a brownish tinge. I did an experiment by adding 10 drops of Tru Color CB&Q Freight Car Red t
