Walthers is releasing a 50' AAR boxcar in road numbers 21312 and 21324. I've checked the color guide and some online sources but haven't been able to determine if the Q actually had any cars in this

Ricky These boxcars were from the series 21300-21349 built in 1941 at Havelock as part of the XM-33 class. They were renumbered to 8500-8549 on the passenger car roster in 1944-5 with high speed truc

Ricky I should have mentioned that both 21312 and 21324 were listed on the 1970 ORER. I've found a photo of 21329 in 1966 also in green paint at http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=8

The XM-33 class included 21000-21399 (built 1941), and 22000-22499 (built 1944). Note that the cars originally had wood running boards! Some were definitely repainted Chinese Red, but I don't know ho
