Wow, talk about nostalgia! The fountain pen ink I remember using most was Sheaffer's "Scrip." It had the little pocket inside near the top which held just about the right amount of ink to fill a pen.

Pardon my ignorance, but if you place carbon paper "carbon side up" aren't you going to end up with mirror writing? Or was the idea that the carbon would show thru the flimsy paper (hence the name) a
