- Recently, I have been looking at the Mantua 2-6-6-2's on ebay (ho SCALE). T2's with some modifications. I wonder if anyone on the list has attempted to do this, and if so what your thoughts are. The

- Ray, They weren't Q T-1's. PFM brought in some GN L-1's of which three became the first T-1's. I believe they were Crown models and when they came in they were around $1,000 and that sure wasn't chea

- We had one modeler here in Colorado who kitbashed a Mantua 2-6-6-2 to an On30 model of a Uintah articulated. The same could be done for Sumpter Valley and other narrow gauge logging roads. I have a M

- LorenI think you meant the T1s..... the T2s were designed to Q standards... essentially two R4s with a long boiler. The T1s were GN designs diverted to the Q. There was some use of the Q engineering
