Hello, In looking at pictures of the Q SD24s, it appears that there are possibly 2 builder's plates on each side of the locomotives.  The bottom one looks to be one of the EMD "hot dog" style plates,

Looking at pictures on RRpicturearchives the plate does appear to be a trust plate. It remained on the units into their BN days but in photos of the ex-Q SD24's in the final days on BN the plates are

the gp-7 & 9 sd-7-9-24  all had the emd plate with model number and serials numbers on it and then usually above that plate in big letters and numberswere the model numbers   sample would look like t
