Looking at pictures on RRpicturearchives the plate does appear to be a trust plate. It remained on the units into their BN days but in photos of the ex-Q SD24's in the final days on BN the plates are gone. The Mars light is only on the front short hood on the SD24's. The long hood or rear only has the twin-sealed beam headlight. The bottom one looks to be one of the EMD "hot dog" style plates, but I'm unable to identify the upper one. Can anyone shed any light on this plate? Also, did the units have the gyralights installed on the end of the long hoods in addition to the short hoods like the GPs and SDs previous to them had? Thanks! Bryan J.
