First, I respect the guys who actually ran the units and understand the SW15 designation that the BN gave the units.  I am not sure, however, that that relates to the CB&Q.. I believe they bought SW1

Regardless of WHAT they are called, I will go on record as stating, emphatically, that EMD screwed up a perfectly good switch engine with the design and release of the SW1000/SW1500 models !!!! Karl
