Jeff, This was at a time long before the more sophisticated blocking of trains/traffic was developed so cars were handled in a more linear fashion(straight line) rather than being carried to terminal

Leo...I guess it varied from territory to territory, but I never heard of "roustabout pay"...vs "wayfreight pay"...in fact, the term "Wayfreight" in any context is "foreign" to my experience on eithe
