- Yes, that was the exact route for those early unit trains (circa 1963). It has been a long time but I believe the destination was a plant of Northern States Power. They didn't run on any kind of regu

- Thanks John. Anyone know how late unit trains ran up the Pea Vine to the Twin Cities? I model 1967-1969 and have a lot of Q hopper cars. Would like an excuse to run unit coal trains over my Savanna-c
