All- It is amazing that a NM-1 survived. As stated previously, the carbody was put on a jury-built frame and wheels, but is otherwise pretty much pristine comparing the photos to the shot of #300. I

Charlie: I would guess that the Minden car also has some outside numbers visible under several coats of paint, and further, that the only reason it's numbered 9 is because that was the center number
