I dont think we have had a post about Signal Cabins that were used in the Manual Block System Chicago to Aurora. Many of these were small frame shacks not much bigger than Crossing Gatekeeper Houses.

Charlie, Was this early (original?) tower at Downers Grove, also a considered signal cabin? This one, I believe, was located at the same site as the later brick tower was located. That would be MP 21
