Hello guys! Does anyone know the reason that th BNSF is rerouting trains over the Mendota Sub in Illinois? I live in Hinckley IL at MP55.2 and I have seen a drastic decrease in train traffic! I have

I don't know what trains are being rerouted but the last I read on another list there were a few trains parked because of washouts and others were rerouted. Which direction I don't know.  Here's the

Since the Devils Lake Sub was no connection with Northtown to Cicero that does not really connect with that part of the railroad. I don't know what trains are being rerouted but the last I read on an

Lots of stack trains (Z Trains) are running on the Mendota Sub. Train trafiic is really low on the C&I! We have very few trains come through town for the last few days! Thanks guys for responding to

Jim, That might make sense. I was asked about "Z" trains running from Rochelle rather than Mendota. I checked as many as I could and found nothing like that. If they ran some Stack Trains over Mendot
